Joining the live class offers a small, safer space to connect in community with others. With the option to have your camera on or off, you can also choose a more personal space to reconnect with yourself.


KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge empowers! In the live class, we’ll learn about trauma’s impact and the ways TCTSY counters it. We’ll understand trauma doesn’t mean something’s wrong with you but rather that something happened to you.

Kate O’Hara is a movement and embodiment trauma care specialist who’s guided hundreds of people in their journeys through trauma. Certified by the Center for Trauma and Embodiment in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), Kate has been supporting people in their journeys since 2015.

In addition, Kate shares their experience by serving as a mentor within the 300-hour TCTSY Certification Program. Currently, she supports cohorts of clinicians and yoga teachers within the LGBTQ+ community.

  • We can start by introducing each other and then maybe chat over the phone or by Zoom about your curiosities, questions, or experiences.

  • You can start practicing right away with the recorded library or join the live class every week when you’re ready, moving toward reconnection with yourself and others.

  • In this step, you can sign up for practices. You can choose between the live class, the recorded library, or both. How you participate is up to you.
